APG’s Brisbane team worked alongside the Star Gold Coast’s internal project delivery team on a number of Capital Expenditure projects at the hotel and casino over a period of 3 years. Projects included ACP rectification and replacement works, services upgrades, a vertical transport upgrade involving the replacement of 17 lifts, along with a number of fitouts to gaming areas and multiple food and beverage venues.

Other minor works included the management of waterproofing and rectification to the Grand Hotel and Gaming floor exits, the coordinated removal of fittings and fixtures from Star atrium space and a boiler rectification project. All projects occurred within a ‘live’ operating hospitality environment requiring the management of complex methodologies and carefully planned and coordinated stakeholder communications.
