Mecwacare have managed a planning & design process on their Church Street site to partly demolish the existing Hotel and replace it with a new 6-storey (plus basement) 80-room Aged Care facility; whilst retaining the existing Heritage Facade. The site is currently under development, with a $35M construction project live on site at piling stage with Total Construction. The contractual completion date is approximately end of 2025. APG have been appointed as Superintendent to manage the project through to completion, including the defects management and rectification. Our appointment includes superintendent services for the entire Construction phase; and subsequently Project Management services for a short initial phase of the project to manage design amendments, including negotiating time and cost implications with the Contractor.
